Poppy Appeal for the Royal British Legion

Thank you to everyone who supported the Poppy appeal. The children also made individual poppies that have been placed outside the front reception of school. We are sure that you will agree that they look amazing and are a great tribute to all our service men and women.

The red poppy is a symbol of both Remembrance and hope for a peaceful future.

Poppies are worn as a show of support for the Armed Forces community.

The poppy is a well-known and well-established symbol, one that carries a wealth of history and meaning with it.

School will be having a Remembrance assembly in school on Friday 11th November

Anti Bullying

Starting on Monday the 14th of November this year, it is anti-bullying week.

Whilst this is an issue that is always important to tackle, we feel it is a great opportunity to highlight it and encourage everyone to talk more openly about it.

Within school we will be participating in activities, lessons and having lots of conversations about anti-bullying, and we would love it if you could take the opportunity to continue those conversations at home.

This year's theme is "reach out", thinking about who we can reach out to for support, at home, at school, and anywhere else when bullying is impacting us or someone else.

It's important to us that children feel safe and supported at school, enabling them to reach out when they need us most, so please do let us know if any issues or concerns arise from these conversations.

School Dinners

School dinners are £2.40.

Children in full time Nursery and KS2 (Year 3, 4, 5 and 6) are required to pay for lunches, but lunches for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are free.

If you would like your child to go onto school dinners now that weather is getting colder, please contact the school office. We do require a week's notice to change onto school dinners.

The following link shows the hot dinners that are available in school. From Monday 7th November we will be on Week 2 Menu.
